A college friend was in town for a week and is getting certified as a yoga instructor and wanted some photographs taken so she can start promoting her services.

So we headed to Alki Beach, Kerry Park and Wallingford - all in Seattle- to get some action shots of her striking a pose. 

I've done yoga with Maggie... she will kick your butt into gear.

Trust me, this girl can bend in ways I never knew your body could! The session was great and made me realize that I should be stretching more.

Tyann contacted me wanting family photos taken especially since it was little Logan's FIRST birthday. It was around sunset at Gene Coulon Park. It was nice to walk around the park and the entire time little Claire kept telling me that she wanted to go swimming. So while walking the decks we pretended to be fish and swam together. The pictures were great and meeting a new family in the area was great too!

I had the chance to photograph these handsome guys at the Seattle Sculptural Garden. What was great about their session was that they were able to climb around the art installations while I casually took their picture. It was awesome climbing rooftops and between the timbers...

I had the pleasure of shooting my first solo wedding for Nancy and Katie. They were in town from Texas and decided to turn their trip into a wedding/ honeymoon weekend celebration with their closest friends. It was a quick ceremony in the jury rest area at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse and then off we went to Pike's Market for some celebratory photos. It was a wonderful experience to shoot such an intimate day for two people who clearly love each other.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy at the Seattle Public Library to capture some senior photos. The location ended up being a perfect fit since Jeremy is really into books and science- he wants to be a chemical engineer! Jeremy was awesome to work with and after calling him handsome and making a couple Simpson references he was able to relax and we got some great shots. We explored and got lost in the library but found some great nooks and crannies- which are perfect for photo sessions like this!

Senior photo sessions are awesome... it reminds me of my youth and all the promise life has to offer!
